Social Development Commission contracts for systems analysis, policies and procedures development services. (May 10, 2011)
Contracted by the State of Wisconsin Department of Children & Families to determine eligibility and assess applicants throughout Milwaukee County for Wisconsin Works (Wisconsin’s Temporary Assistance to Needy Families program), the Social Development Commission has retained Jericho Resources, Inc. to analyze its service delivery systems and assist in strengthening its policies and procedures. The Social Development Commission serves as the “front door” for the state’s welfare-to-work program, and adds value in serving the community’s poorest families by providing expert upfront services. It is the first organization to ever be contracted as the Wisconsin Works (W-2) Eligibility & Assessment Agency for all of Milwaukee County.
The earlier and more thorough an applicant’s assessment, the more effective employment planning can be and the sooner the family can achieve self-sufficiency. Jericho Resources, Inc. is honored to help enhance service delivery for low-income families in Wisconsin’s largest county.
